The Division of Undergraduate Education: Provides campuswide leadership for undergraduate education and administers faculty and student programs that support and assess excellence in teaching and learning. It includes:
- Office of Educational Development: Source of hard-copy and online materials for faculty who wish to learn more about teaching or improve their teaching methods.
- Educational Technology Services: Primary campus resource for course websites, classroom technology, webcasting, teleconferencing, video and radio, and consultation and training on how to use these tools.
- Instructor Information For American Cultures course development: Resources to help instructors develop and teach undergraduate courses satisfying the campus's American cultures breadth requirement; includes a summer seminar, workshops, consultation, and grants.
- Disabled Students' Program: Source of a wide range of services for eligible students with verified disabilities; also helps instructors understand and provide appropriate accommodations.
Graduate Student Instructor (GSI) Teaching Resource Center: Resources, programs, and awards promoting GSI teaching effectiveness and career development.
Undergraduate Course Facilitator Training & Resources: Support for undergraduates leading student-initiated special studies or field studies courses through Democratic Education at Cal (DeCal); part of the Student Learning Center.
The Library: Offers tailored research sessions for individual courses and consultations to help instructors design assignments using print and electronic resources.
- Reference & Instruction provides services for instructors in the humanities, social sciences, and undergraduate services.
- The Center for Science and Engineering Information Literacy helps science and engineering librarians develop tools to support teaching and learning.
The Berkeley Language Center: Resource center for language instructors, offering information on language pedagogy, second-language acquisition, and applied linguistics.
The Service-Learning Research and Development Center: Technical assistance, minigrants, and informational resources for instructors and departments interested in integrating public-service activities into the academic curriculum.
